‍ ‍ Artist Statement

This gallery is founded on the profound belief that every work of art, when crafted with intention and guided by aesthetic purpose, becomes more than an object. It gains life. Within each piece, a current of vitality is set into motion - shaped by color, defined by form, and sustained by the rhythm of visual expression. Here, art is not merely passive decoration but an active presence, one that greets each observer with its own voice, mood and resonance.

My hope is that my artwork invites the viewer into its world, asking you to sense the vibrancy within each of them. Each composition is a study in the way art can breathe, reflecting our compacity for thought, memory, empathy and wonder. The dialogue between the artwork and its observer is what reveals this life, transforming a static image into an experience that feels immediate and alive.

A word about my process — I handcraft my artwork using digital tools and have archival quality printing to Etching Paper. I do not use artificial intelligence to create my artwork.

‍ ‍ Biography

Beginning my art career in 1972 as a graphic artist and illustrator for NBC television studios in Burbank, California, I went on to do art and design for commercial animation studios as well as film advertising design. In 1989 I accepted an art directorship with the cutting-edge computer game company Sierra Online. The following 20+ years of my life were spent art directing and creating conceptual art design for computer games. I now follow a very personal aesthetic and have, for some time, been exploring possibilities I had no previous experience with. Abstraction. Once I began, it was quite liberating. No longer constrained by the wishes of others or even realism, I felt set free.
